Earth's Child

I’m blind and I can’t see,
Black and white looks the same to me.
I head her say it’s ok.
Maybe the world needs to see through my eyes.
They could get past the human dequise,
Her eyes are undefiled.
The little girl smiled.
She said I’m just earth’s child
She took my hand and said walk with me.
Tell me about the grass and the tree.
Let me smell the flowers that grow wild.
The little girl smiled.
She said I’m just earth’s child.
She said I wish I could show,
The world what I know,
Too see where eyes can’t go,
Too see the heart and the soul.
I wish I could open the eyes,
The little girl smiled,
So the world could all be,
Just like me,
Smell the flowers that grow wild.
I’m just earth’s child.
I don’t know day from night.
I don’t know black from white.
We are all precious in God’s sight.
The little girl smiled
and she said I’m just earth’s child.
